I may not be alone in this... I'm not good at promoting my own work. Fortunately, other people are.
Info about exhibits or signings will appear on this page -- mostly about my work, but not limited to it...
There are people in places like Fresno and Florida who are not aware (and don't really care) that Connecticut has a shoreline, but it does. On that shoreline is a little beach village called Niantic, where Pat Kelbaugh has lived for most of her life. Niantic is like poison ivy, or opera. That is, if one is immune one can go through life without giving much thought to either; but if one isn't immune, they can get into your blood. And so when she began writing, she took her beloved little village and the two towns to the east and transformed them into the fictional towns of Shoals Crossing*, Milltown* and Fullesport*. Pat's Dreamtime novels, Darke House and Summerland, involve the paranormal as a matter-of-fact part of everyday life, but do not fit into the "horror" genre. Even so, people who live in the region that inspired the three fictional towns might find certain details - how to say it? - horribly familiar.
Come and see for yourself!
Thistle Beads, 55 Pennsylvania Avenue, Niantic, CT has invited Pat to do a book signing. This will include an exhibition of the "Storyboard Paintings" from the novels.
